In line with the campaign of the DEPED in equipping the school children with the knowledge, proper attitude and skills on what to do in case of a natural disaster like earthquake, Capunitan Elementary School conducted the earthquake drill on the school campus on March 11, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Monico D. Albay led the activity with the teachers and their respective classes. The drill was carried out simultaneously and smoothly, grades I-VI pupils, occupying a designated area for them. With this, we can say that the children are now aware of what to do if such phenomenon occurs. |
